10 months to go!

So 2 months down and 10 months to go...

So today I finished session one of my summer semester and I hope to finish this class with a C or better. Let's see...not much has happened since the last time I updated. It was the same routine everyday; wake up early in the morning, hop on the bus, go to class and go home. Fridays is the same as everyday after I got my hours cut! Now I'm working 3 days a week and left wondering if the cut is permanant or temporary. I'm starting to enjoy getting Fridays off but I'm not making the money I need. Anyways, back to the school topic, so one month down for summer session and another to go. I was surprised to see that I am actually doing well in a math class. Most of the time, I'll be doing horrible.

Lately, my focus have been on work. I think it is time to find another job. I have my hours cut and the drama is back. Honestly, drama needs to stay in the theatre and not at an arts and craft store. It's starting to get out of hand again. All I'm saying is that I do not care about your problems and I do not want to be involved.

Since the problems arised at work, my temper and attitude has gotten bad. I am trying to control my temper but there's always someone or something sparking the fire. It's difficult to control it when all these problems keep coming at me.

So nothing new or significant happened since June 10th. Oh well, maybe next months, something unusual and/or interesting will happen (at school, not at work). We'll just wait and see. For now, it time for sleep. So hope to see you next months...LATER!

11 months to go...

Here I go again and 11 months left until I graduate from college. So what happened since May 18th? I had one week of summer vacation, which was not as exciting since I was stuck at home most of that week and I had work. Then last week, I started summer session at main campus. I have class everyday at 9:30 am. I have not gotten used to getting up earlier (6:00 am) just so I can catch the 7:50 am bus to main campus.

Not too much has happened since the last post other than my BFF and her boyfriend are in town visiting and chilling. She's only here for one week and then she is going back to her current home. Even though it took her a while to finally get to Union Station (Thanks for the 3 hours delay, Amtrak!), we got to chill for a bit but I'm saving the fun for last.

Who knew some, NOT ALL, people on main campus can be really mean! Yes, I am a student at UMCP but I go to the satillite campus. I ask for simple directions to the Stamp Union/Bookstore and all I get is people ignoring me or telling me to "go find it yourself." Ok...It was not the answer I was seeking but it doesn't mean those certain people have to be super mean. When someone at Shady Grove ask me a question or direction, I give it to them but I won't be telling them to "go find it yourself." I just don't understand what was their problem.

Other than school and life, work is getting more stressful. Just yesterday, I felt everything was in order before 3:00 pm. Afterwards, it became a bit chaotic. The new supervisor is still learning so I absolutely don't blame her for anything. She's still new at this. But then, after 3, something sparked the fire and everything just went crazy. I am not happy with a few cashiers (well maybe 2) not doing their jobs. One cause so much problem. She decided on when to take her break when it was clearly marked down when to prevent cashier shortage. Then after 5, the chaos died down and everything went back to normal. I do not know how this chaos broke out. The boss went on vacation for about a week and then she comes back to a chaotic environment. Two MODs butting heads, one MOD making up accusations and the same MOD hiding in the office and not doing her job. I only know about the false accusation the previous Sunday MOD was making up because she wants to. I don't know what's all this mess but I don't want to get involved in this. I just want to come into work, do my job and earn the money to pay off my tuition.

I can go on but it's 2:14 am and I am getting super tired. I have lost a lot of sleep since summer session began and I just want to have one day to sleep. Well, that's all for now. Be sure to check back in July for any new updates as I continue my journey to graduation...Til then, as Spock will put it, "Live Long and Prosper." (I just enjoy using 'Star Trek' quotes!!!)

12 months to go

May 19th, 2011: 1 year to go

Starting today and ending at or around this time next year, I will be taking one day out of each month to document my journey to the end (of college, that is).

So today I see my friends ending their college days and moving into the career world. Oh yes, I am pretty jealous about this. So this is how it went: Fall of 2007: We entered our first year of college at different schools. By now, most of my friends are starting their 101 level courses while I was stuck taking 001, 095 courses. Spring of 2008: Everyone else continue taking their college level courses. I am taking mostly elective courses. Fall 2008: I just finally take my college level courses. Everyone else is taking the next level courses. Fall 2010: I transferred to a university and took 300 level courses, everyone is finishing their final fall semester. Here we are today, I have one more exam left (who knew this course was combined with another university) and then I'm free...for about a week. Then I'm back to school for two more months of torture (What? I need to take 2 courses before I can graduate!). Why must getting a good career this much torture?! Ok seriously, it's not all torture.

Other than school, I got work to deal with. Not the job I want but it will do for right now. Work has its ups and downs. Up: Flexible schedule, great environment, "friendly" atomosphere. I say "friendly" because not everyone there is as friendly and awesome co-workers. Down: Can be stressful at times, crappy Saturday night MOD (I am not talking about the GM or AGM) on some nights, 2 annoying and useless workers.

Anyways, I need to finish studying and more studying. Then off to school to take my last final exam of the semest...DANIEL! YOU FARTED ON MY COUCH! You didn't need to know that!

Check back in June for the latest update as I continue my journey to end of my college days.

Spock Out! (Ahhhh...the joy of watching Star Trek)

What Happened to My Old Blogs?

I have not touched this blog page since senior year of high school, which is about two years ago. All of my previous blogs that I had since then have mysteriously disappeared.
