Here I go again and 11 months left until I graduate from college. So what happened since May 18th? I had one week of summer vacation, which was not as exciting since I was stuck at home most of that week and I had work. Then last week, I started summer session at main campus. I have class everyday at 9:30 am. I have not gotten used to getting up earlier (6:00 am) just so I can catch the 7:50 am bus to main campus.
Not too much has happened since the last post other than my BFF and her boyfriend are in town visiting and chilling. She's only here for one week and then she is going back to her current home. Even though it took her a while to finally get to Union Station (Thanks for the 3 hours delay, Amtrak!), we got to chill for a bit but I'm saving the fun for last.
Who knew some, NOT ALL, people on main campus can be really mean! Yes, I am a student at UMCP but I go to the satillite campus. I ask for simple directions to the Stamp Union/Bookstore and all I get is people ignoring me or telling me to "go find it yourself." Ok...It was not the answer I was seeking but it doesn't mean those certain people have to be super mean. When someone at Shady Grove ask me a question or direction, I give it to them but I won't be telling them to "go find it yourself." I just don't understand what was their problem.
Other than school and life, work is getting more stressful. Just yesterday, I felt everything was in order before 3:00 pm. Afterwards, it became a bit chaotic. The new supervisor is still learning so I absolutely don't blame her for anything. She's still new at this. But then, after 3, something sparked the fire and everything just went crazy. I am not happy with a few cashiers (well maybe 2) not doing their jobs. One cause so much problem. She decided on when to take her break when it was clearly marked down when to prevent cashier shortage. Then after 5, the chaos died down and everything went back to normal. I do not know how this chaos broke out. The boss went on vacation for about a week and then she comes back to a chaotic environment. Two MODs butting heads, one MOD making up accusations and the same MOD hiding in the office and not doing her job. I only know about the false accusation the previous Sunday MOD was making up because she wants to. I don't know what's all this mess but I don't want to get involved in this. I just want to come into work, do my job and earn the money to pay off my tuition.
I can go on but it's 2:14 am and I am getting super tired. I have lost a lot of sleep since summer session began and I just want to have one day to sleep. Well, that's all for now.
