5 months or 7 months

So generally speaking, I was suppose to have five months left until I graduate. When I went to talk to my adviser, she told me I was one class away from graduating in the Spring. So according to her, I will not be graduating in May but in July. But I am not super upset about this b/c I wasn't aware that I was only one class away from graduating. I was going to risk it next semester but I could not exceed my maximum classes my head can handle. There's no way I am having a repeat of my second year. I did what I could and my adviser offered all the help that was possible. If it was my old adviser, I would have been screwed over. If only I knew about this last semester, I would have pushed it this semester by taking 5 classes but the old adviser did not provide too much help. I am, however, not pleased to hear that. I haven't been able to tell my parents about it. I know they will not approve of this but like I said, I did what I could and my adviser did what she could. It is only for one more month and no more. No matter what, if she said one more month, then one more month and only one more class. PERIOD.

So aside from all of that, I have been working endlessly. I understand that it is the holiday season but my hours are a little ridiculous! I am a full-time student and a part-time employee but I am working 9-10 hours a day! I won't be complaining if I was working at my career choice but I am not yet there. Yes, I may have 3 days free but if you think about it, I only have one day to myself. I spend the other two days at school. I never complained about it until now. Right now, I'm focusing on school more b/c it is my final year. I need all the relaxation time I can get.

Ok, enough of the complaining. Now onto the great news, I have completed the second and third round of my police applicant. I have taken and (barely) passed the written test. I ended up getting rescheduled for my oral interview. Well, I went and had my oral interview earlier this month. I did pretty well and passed it. Now I'm just waiting for a background check. I hope by the next post, I should get the news.

So, I'm just going back to studying for my finals. Until then, later...YEA! Patriots beat the Redskins! (Hahaha! I am in Redskins territory!)
